Can I manage the site myself after delivery?

Yes, all sites are delivered with an intuitive CMS (WordPress, Sanity, etc.) and full training to manage content, images and pages independently.

Can you really manage your site on your own?

The answer depends on what you mean by "manage". There are things you can comfortably do yourself. And things where a mistake can be costly.

What you can do yourself

With a modern CMS such as WordPress or Shopify, you can handle many tasks without technical skills:

  • Adding new articles and pages.
  • Editing text and images.
  • Responding to comments and reviews.
  • Monitoring visits with Google Analytics.

What needs more care

Other tasks require specific care:

  • CMS and plugin updates: done poorly, they can break the site.
  • Regular backups: essential to avoid data loss in case of problems.
  • Image optimisation: files that are too large slow down the page.
  • SSL certificate: necessary for security and SEO.

Where you risk causing damage

The riskiest things to do yourself are changes to the code and server technical settings. An error in the robots.txt file can make the site disappear from Google results.

My advice

Learn to manage content independently. It is useful and gives you independence. For everything else, train carefully before touching anything. Or rely on a professional. The damage from technical mistakes always costs more than the initial saving.
